Spreading Smiles: Diwali Celebration with Special Children

On the joyful occasion of Diwali, ADHIKAR Multipurpose Society, in association with JCI Orange City, organized a special outreach event for children with intellectual disabilities in Nagpur.

The celebration was conducted at Sabki Diwali, Khushiyon Wali initiative locations including Jivanraksha Matimand Kendra, Pili Nadi Road, and Mahal Vasati Gruha.

Around 60 children participated in the event, where they experienced the true spirit of Diwali through songs, games, dance, and joyful interaction. The children were also gifted clothes, toys, books, sweets, and essential items, bringing smiles and warmth to their hearts.

This initiative was led

by Aishwarya Vakil (President-Elect, JCI Orange City 2026), Nikhil Band (VP-Elect 2026), Juhi Asani (VP-Elect 2026), Kalyani Krishna Kukwase (Secretary, ADHIKAR), and Jyoti Balkrishna Kanoje (President, ADHIKAR).

The event reflected ADHIKAR’s commitment to inclusive celebration, dignity, and emotional well-being for every child.
